Gloves of Love: Spreading Warmth this Valentine's Day
February 15, 2024
In the spirit of giving and warmth this Valentine's Day, our incredible residents, staff, and family members of Concord Ridge banded together to make a difference in the lives of those in need. Despite the chill outside, their hearts are radiating with warmth as they've generously donated gloves to support The Subzero Mission. This amazing non-profit delivers hats, coats, gloves, boots, sleeping bags, and other warming items to the homeless in Northeast Ohio and other regions during the winter.
It's truly awe-inspiring to witness such compassion and generosity from our elders, who are reminding us all that no matter our age or circumstance, we can make a meaningful impact on the world around us. Their simple yet profound act of kindness is a shining example of the power of community and the beauty of empathy.
As a local nursing home, community outreach is not just a choice but a responsibility. By participating in initiatives like donating gloves to The Subzero Mission, we demonstrate our commitment to making a positive impact and improving the lives of those in need. Our involvement in community outreach aligns with our core values of empathy, kindness, and service, reinforcing our dedication to enriching the lives of not only our residents but also the community at large. Together, we can make a difference and create a brighter, more caring future for all.
